Biography of William Mitton Stewart: typescript 1955

William Mitton Stewart was principal of the University of Utah Normal School from 1888 to 1913. He was active in the establishment of the Training School which was later named the Stewart School. He also served as director of the Summer School for many years, and as a regent of the University of Utah from 1889 to 1892. This collection contains a biography of William Mitton Stewart by an unidentified author and a copy of the newspaper obituary notice.
